This is a long shot. This lovely cabinet card photograph is of a mother and son. On the back it is written in fountain pen "Kjæld". Very faintly (and I had to really look to see this) the name "Hartman" is written in pencil. The photo was taken in Copenhagen, circa 1900.

Their names were on an identical portrait which I also rescued. I copied the names onto the back of this one.
